Based in Ripley, Derbyshire and covering the surrounding area. Simply drop off your equipment at our recording studio (Capybara Sound) and we’ll get on with servicing your equipment and reporting on any required repairs as soon as possible.
Servicing includes running onboard diagnostics to ensure all buttons, faders and jog wheels respond as expected and within any specifications shown in the official Pioneer service manual where available. We also test audio inputs and outputs and general functionality.
All equipment is thoroughly cleaned during service whilst parts, button caps and casings are stripped down, to ensure as far as possible, your equipment is returned to you in as new condition (wear and tear not-with-standing).
Servicing and repairs of Pioneer DJ equipment for the East Midlands.
We can also replace failed tactile button switches and diagnose other issues with your equipment, source replacement parts and electronic components and provide ongoing updates throughout the repair process, including letting you know additional costs for parts and labour as the diagnostics and repair progresses.
Basic servicing starts from £60 plus VAT per unit for models like the CDJ-350 and DJM-350.
A full service on an XDJ like the one in the image above can cost £300 plus VAT due to the amount of work involved. It takes two full days, starting with initial testing and diagnosis. We carefully strip the unit down to access faders, disassemble both jog wheels, clean out old grease, and refresh with the correct (and expensive) specialist Pioneer grease, followed by extensive testing and checks.
There are significant differences between the various model ranges in regards to what’s required and how complex they are to service and/or repair, so please do get in touch for further information and to discuss what’s involved and for a guide to likely costs.
